Standard Ninja Equipment
Name: Scrolls
Appearance: Rolls of paper with rods in the center for structure
Rank: E
Special Abilities: None until used in a jutsu, can be used in somons, fuujitsu or to store raw materials (please specify if the scrolls contain any items)
Origin: Another basic item. Scrolls are used for various things such as containing, sealing, summoning, and simply containing lessons on jutsu inside them. Beyond being useful for writing on, scrolls may also contain the excess items needed for projectile ninjutsu and may even be used to seal and summon other items in a character's inventory.
Name: Kunai
Appearance: Small knives with a spade like blade, a thinner bandaged handle with a ring on the end, nothing fancy but plenty effective
Rank: E
Special Abilities: none
Origin: One of the most common weapons among shinobi, Kunai are small daggers. They are made of metal and, if they make contact with the target, can be quite painful. Though they are much larger than either of the above three, and thus, are easier to dodge. Mainly, kunai are used as distraction. Kunai are good for both long-distance and close-combat fighting but they can only be thrown in a straight arc.
Name: Shuriken
Appearance: Typicaly Shuriken are four pointed metallic stars with sharp edges and points with a hole in the center but other shapes have been seen in the shinobi world
Rank: E
Special Abilities: none
Origin: A basic projectile. Shurikens are star shaped and normally have four points each side. They are sharp and can be used as a basic weapon or even for distracting opponents. A basic ninja accessory. While a kunai can only be thrown in a straight arc, shurikens can for example hit targets around corners.
Grave Village Ninja Equipment
Name: Fear toxin (and immunity to fear toxin)
Description: a foggy grey liquid which is either placed on weapons or inside smoke bombs ect it can be taken intravenously or through inhalation
Use: The fear toxin is a poison which triggers the innate responses in the body’s chemistry for fear, this makes it so that even ninjas who have trained not to feel fear naturally are effected by fear causing elements in the environment, symptoms include rising heart rate, paranoia, panicking, constantly second guessing ones senses and always jumping to the most fearful conclusion, this increases the effectiveness of fear causing genjutsu and scare tactics exponentially in even the bravest victim
History: This toxin is pumped in to the fog around the grave village to ward away intruders, the grave ninja are given a special injection at an early age which causes this toxin to lose effect so that they are not terrified constantly in their home environment
Name: Barrier cloaks
Description: Appears as an ordinary, long black hooded cloak made of a thick fabric with a higher collar, the inside of this cloak is lined with chain mail, this has small metal plates woven in to it spaced evenly through out the pattern like a grid, each plate has a small barrier seal inscribed on it and the entire metal set up is made of chakra receptive material. The collar is faceted on with a buckle resembling a grave village forehead projector.
Use: The user can move the cloak to block physical attacks and if need be circulate chakra through the cloak to activate the seals inside while grouping the plaits together for a defense against ninjutsu, though this accounts for damage reduction only in ninjutsu above b rank it negates kenjutsu completely, the black color and receptiveness to chakra also allows for the cloak to enhance camouflage techniques, when the barrier is up the user is either unable to move or unable to use other jutsu
History: a component of some of the grave ninja’s wardrobe made in to a powerfull defensive tool
Name: Grave masks
Description: appears as a simple, almost toy like wooden mask made to look like a certain spirit ghost or monster, the inside of this mask is fitted with goggles and a genjutsu tag
Use: Once put on the mask transforms the users appearance in to that of the creature the mask is suppose to be, though this is an illusion. The goggles are night vision with an inferred setting on them (specify the creature the mask is suppose to be)
History: Used on missions to scare hapless outsiders away
Note: This mask is made to look like a red oni, or Japanese demon.
Name: Defensive casket
Description: A modified wooden casket, the inside of which is lined with a strong steel, seals with the kanji for “ward” are on all sides of this casket and the front is fitted with a slotted eye hole that can be opened and shut from the inside, the barrier seals guard against ninjutsu and the metal inside blocks weapons
Use: The seals on all sides of the casket are barrier seals, the grave nin keeps the casket in a scroll and releases it when needed, climbing inside the coffin to defend themselves, this is ideal when dogging is no longer an option, however use of the casket very quickly drains chakra and so it can really only be used for a post at a time, the defensive casket is also used to protect allies who can hide behind the casket while the user is inside.
Not surprisingly this casket is preferred by puppet users, they hide inside the protective casket while manipulating their puppets, the puppets can even be used to carry the casket itself.
History: A modification on the ninja casket that constitutes a powerful defense
Note: This is held in a scroll.
Puppets
Name: Minor puppets, will-o-whisps
Description: A small mechanized needle shooter fitted with a box containing a couple of cartages of needles laced with fear toxin and fitted with two tags, an area of effect genjutsu tag and an explosive tag, the genjutsu tag gives the needles shooter the appearance of a billowy ball of purplish blue flame
Use: Only one chakra string is needed to control these with puppetry, needles are fired from the puppet as it floats in mid air, if this fails the will-o-whisps can explode in a suicide bombing tactic
History: Will-o-whisps are a common verity of Japanese sprit, said to frequent areas of supernatural presence, such as grave yards, this puppet capitalizes on that idea
Quantity: Ten (Located in a scroll)
Name: Ninja skeletons
Description: Scrolls containing coffins which house modified skeletons, these are identical to normal skeletons but the bone has a shine to it, they have been modified for battle able to withstand physical attacks with out breaking. These actual skeletons still contain chakra pathways on their bones.
Use: Used in the grave village secret art; skeleton puppetry jutsu
History: Skeletal warriors are the stuff of ghost stories, though jutsu for corpse manipulation and bone growth exist none are truly as terrifying as the skeleton puppetry jutsu
Special Note: He carried one of each basic chakra type, each in its own scroll.
