Nieuse watched his hook miss and knew it was time for plan two. He needed K distracted from his main weapon if he was going to catch him off guard with the hook. He withdrew a needle from his pouch rapidly. Nieuse knew his opponent could see what he had done, and so he hurried. Quickly he turned the fishing rod towards K, holding it like a blowgun. He breathed in a deep breath, preparing to fire. His cheeks swelled and then he ejected the projectile from his mouth. The rod hid the appearance of his missile. Once it exited the rather large chamber, the dart itself was concealed by a large glob of water that surrounded it. This move attack seemed desperate, but it wasn’t. All in all Nieuse’s employment of the fish spit jutsu was a distraction. K would easily be able to dodge one projectile; but eventually K would slip up. At least, Nieuse thought such things. Nieuse had never fought a ninja of K’s caliber before and so he had no clue if K was actually capable of getting tired or making mistakes. He could always hope such things were true, because otherwise, the team would most definitely fail. Nieuse had used two jutsu so far and it had only been a minute into the scramble, or less. The passage of time hadn’t worried Nieuse, however, as he was just trying to keep up with his allies. He hoped he was leaving a good impression; Nieuse wanted to be seen as more than clever, clever didn’t mean much to someone like him. It was hard being so serious but it would be harder to take the shame of fooling around and failing his team on his first day. Nieuse didn’t know much but he did know people judge by first impressions. His goal wasn’t to pilfer K’s sunglasses, no, his goal was far simpler. He only wanted to leave a good impression on his hyper-capable teacher and his talented associates. He very much didn’t want to be seen as dead weight now, or ever again.

Noah's foot slid to a stop, and he took a deep breath. Something... unexpected needed to happen to trip K up, and Noah sort of had an idea as to what to do. He sprung up and forward, launching himself straight at K. As he got closer, almost enough for them to touch each other, he pushed off the ground, flipping over K. As he opened up from the somersaulting ball he had gone into, he spun, trying to kick K in the back. Not even stopping to see if he had hit, Noah landed and pushed off again, returning to a somersaulting ball. If K was suitably distracted, Noah could reach out and grab K's glasses. If not, then Noah would land in front of his sensei and deliver a stomping kick to K's chest.

Shuriken and kunai weren’t working, shed have to start using higher level jutsu, throwing down a series of hand seals she released a cloud of dark mist above the air, hand seals continuing even past that, hopefully with the water and the attack from Noah K-sen will be to occupied…. Storm release! gathering moisture in the cloud to the areas lightning was forming she intended to use a high speed water guided lightning laser, the classic storm release technique, though she still had to rely on clouds to do it she was working as fast as she could, hopefully shed have time, once the cloud was charged she could call down multiple guided lightning strikes.
K had to focus now, Noah was probably now at his top speed and for a genin it was pretty impressive, he wasn’t serious yet but he was getting more clever, rather than ducking the blow to his back K he leaned forward and extended his free metal hand to block the second kick, being pushed back, as this happened K was unable to stop the water being channeled along the wire and instead pulled back on his wire entirely “lightning release, burst technique!” a more concentrated amount of electricity channeled itself up the wire and in to the kunai, making the jutsu flare almost twice as large, attacking the water rather than trying to shake it, the current meeting the stream of water as it traveled up the fishing lines cord, in a struggle of chakra which K was now actively controlling with his free hand.

K had a counter to anything and everything Nieuse could throw at him, but Nieuse would not give up on taking his sensei’s sunglasses. They rested on K’s head so lazily; with a single strike they could be forced off, with a single wrong move the game would be over. Nieuse knew his teacher was massively superior to him in the fields of ninjutsu and kenjutsu, but for his superior powers K had one exploitable disadvantage. Now was time to make him taste that weakness. All Nieuse needed to do was help his team play the numbers game. He had no plans leftover; he had spent both of them and his opponent was able to easily conquer them with little effort. Did Nieuse have the time to think up a new maneuver? Not really. Did Nieuse have the ability to continue Alina’s original plan? Not really. While thinking, Nieuse reached into his pouch and snuck the bumbling bobber into his right hand. It was time for a ploy, another simple one, but a ploy nonetheless. Nieuse discarded his fishing pole quickly, causing the chakra he had placed in it to disintegrate. He kicked it off to the side and raised his hands up to his mouth with a quick jerking movement. This awkwardly rushed arm-flailing seemed to be a sign of Nieuse losing stamina, but it was actually a hidden attack of his own. He threw the bumbling bobber up into the sky; from K’s current position it would land directly behind him. This move was hidden by his following jutsu; a repeat of his last technique. After his hands formed the motions he spat out another large bubble of water, this one without any object concealed inside it. It was aimed for K’s solar plexus. The attack didn’t have enough force to truly effect K, but perhaps it could shake him enough for him to discard his oh so important shades.

Noah hopped and skidded back, crouching low to the floor. He needed to catch K-sensei off guard... why not... He ran quickly to K's right, before performing Passing Fang to try to drill into his side, if Nieuse's newest attack failed.

Alina finished her hand seals, just in time, it seemed everyone was brining their a list jutsus. “Ranton jutu; storm laser!” Using the fluid nature of water chakra and the elemental nature of lightning Alina was able to guide a lightning strike down toward K with the precision and accuracy of a chakra guided laser. Her eyes could follow it now, where as before shed have to attack stagnant, lone targets she was now confidant enough to use it with Noah and Nieuse so close.
K smiled, this was what he’d been wanting to see, it seemed everyone’s jutsu had improved from before, and that there was more to his new student than his weapon, satisfied with their progress K’s eyes widened as the three attacks closed in “electric mind” suddenly thousands of neural impulses were guided by lighting chakra to K’s mind at once, turning movements to reflexes, thoughts to instinct and overall slowing his sense of time. With an attack aimed for his stomach, behind him, his left side and a laser that could change direction at pinpoint turns and lightning speeds, he was confidant that even a chunin would be in a grave situation here. He had some “time” to assess each attack before moving in a flash, pushing back at high speeds avoiding the projectiles by jumping toward the oncoming bestial attack, K then skillfully turned his body to rotate in the air around the sweeping claws, allowing one to catch his coveted sunglasses, landing back off a distance away with out them, as the electric mind jutsu resolved all the attacks appeared to finish almost simultaneously in a crashing, terrific chaos of sweeping claws, roaring thunder, flashing lightning and bullets of water. A fine show of force for the young team of ninja. K clapped his metal hands together firmly, louder than a normal persons hands would be “to be able to unleash your power so close to each other with out hitting your team mates, and to be able to co-ordinate such attacks quickly, is essential for your teamwork, once mastered, it will allow you to overwhelm much more skilled opponents, for today, you certainly pass, your formation and execution was very impressive indeed”

Nieuse watched K avoid each and every one of the strikes with the agility of a true ninja. But his sensei had lost his shades from his head in the process of dodging; was the scrimmage over? As K clapped his hands, Nieuse knew the training exercise had ended. The squad was praised for their team-work and other forms of synergizing, but Nieuse himself felt disappointed. Was that really his all? No. He failed to bring one hundred percent into the exercise; instead of using his various jutsu to outwit his opponent he fumbled around trying to assist his team-mates. He had no problem helping them, but Nieuse wanted to be competent as well. He sighed a heavy sigh of regret; the weight of his weakness bore heavily down on his shoulders. Nieuse then bent down and picked up his discarded fishing pole, lazily strapping it to his back and preparing for K’s judgment. “K-sen, is there anything you want to teach me? What way should I train my skills?” Nieuse could tell K was wise enough to pass on many great techniques to him in time, but he wanted to develop quickly. He was already a few steps behind his team-mates; if he missed any more training he knew he would just slow down the team. “Maybe some strong water jutsu… Or something with my fishing pole… Or…” His mind trailed off to thoughts he had left half-thought, “eels.” Nieuse had no clue why he muttered the word eels, maybe he just wanted to see them.

The girl, watching this, clapped. "Good show! Good show!" The disguise fell loosely and it turned out to be none other than Tsukasa!
